I stumbled across this Japanese artist on Imgfave. The website is in Japanese, so I can’t figure out his/her name, but I just had to share this work – it’s divine. (Edit. The lovely @yukister has informed me that the artist’s name is Jun, and she lives in Kyoto). See it all here.

I don’t quite know what it is – but there’s something about the image of a girl with a good ol’ fashioned camera…

the sort of thing I remember from my childhood…

…and with that same dreamy quality to the images – like a half-remembered memory…

…I wish I could take a self-portrait of myself like this – alas, I am sans a funky camera…
