I’ve just finished this scarf, which I’ve been working on for about a week and a half. I went on a yarn-hunting mission, looking for unusual and funky skeins to create with. This skein had the colours that always catch my eye - natural browns, greens, and creams. And it’s made with a blend of chunky yarn and ribbons, which look awesome when knitted!

This one’s up for sale… though I may have to make myself one as well…

After browsing the net last night for knitted jewellery patterns, I got inspired. I had an idea of my own, and so, I created my own knitted necklace.

I think this is just beautiful! If you want to see more pics, head over to my etsy shop

Thanks to the helpful crafters at Crafteroo.co.uk, I found a fantastic little tutorial about knitting with wire last night.
It gave me a few tips, and an hour or two later, I had the result - a lovely knitted silver bracelet. This was great fun to knit, and once I added the extension chain and clasp, it turned into quite a stylish piece. I plan to make many more…

Okay, I’ve fallen in love….
This yarn is gorgeous - it’s called Rustica. I bought two skeins of it yesterday, and I’ve already made a NeckWarmer. I’m currently in the process of making a scarf out of it, too! I added three wooden toggles, which can slip through the yarn to secure it.

It has created a thirst for more chunky yarn… I’ve been trawling Etsy for suppliers, and I’m off to check out an awesome yarn shop on Friday. Oh, and those are my earrings, too! I am considering putting this NeckWarmer up for sale on Etsy… but I love it too much! I may have to make another to sell…

I’ve finally gotten around to taking photos of my most recent few cuff designs. These will all be for sale up on Etsy soon - the Ocean Net cuff already is.

Red Soil and Sky Cuff - I love these colours - they remind me of the Outback.

Shades of Purple Cuff - Fastened with Brass Snaps.

I love making these! They are fun, simple and stylish… I wore the first one to work today

I have recently added knitting and jewellery making to my creative pursuits. I’m planning to have some of my latest pieces up online here, and for sale at my Etsy store - Epheriell Designs.
I have really enjoyed both of these activities, and I’m hoping to combine them soon by making some knitted jewellery to add to my knit accessories. I have already begun to combine yarn and beads to create some interesing pieces!
